BASE is a magazine that showcases Indie music artists that have a new, creative take on music. This issue is the “Canadian Edition” which will highlight some of Canada’s most popular and upcoming artists. My goal was to create an engaging magazine for the younger generation, Gen Z, that feels fresh and trending.


Base Magazine targets the younger generation, Zoomers, they want their magazine to attract them on the shelves. Since Gen Z is the tech savvy generation, catching their attention through a print medium is the main challenge.

Target Audience

Base is a trendy magazine that appeals to Gen Z. Here are some of the basic demographics: age: 16-24, location: North America, gender: male and female, income: middle class, occupation: Students or media
